BabyYumYum and Unjani Clinic collaborate to host a wellness workshop about pregnancy and motherhood at Unjani Clinic Olievenhoutbosch. This workshop will provide valuable information and support for expectant mothers and new moms in the community.
Speakers include community leaders of Olievenhoutbosch as well as Sister Thandi, a highly skilled professional nurse. She has vast experience and seasoned skills acquired from more than 20 years of working in both private and state hospitals. Sister Thandi has operated a private primary health care clinic for 7 years. She’ll be talking about the importance of moms and their babies coming for regular check-ups and keeping up with their vaccinations as well as family planning.
Other speakers will be knowledgeable counsellors Ms Sibongile and Nthabiseng Mashala from LifeLine SA who will be talking about depression and how to deal with it—something many pregnant women and new mothers suffer will find interesting.
Plus Nompumelelo Magagula, the founder of The Academy of Excellence will be offering her expertise on how to perform CPR for choking and poisoning. The Academy was founded out of her passion for teaching and assisting the underprivileged. All courses offered by the academy are fully accredited.
BabyYumYum will be giving away 3 exciting hampers and our mascot, Banjo will be there.
