If you’re anything like me, a bad hair day really does make an already bad day much worse. By the same logic, a good hair day makes you feel that much better. Dry shampoo
Not having to wash and blowdry your hair for one more day? Yes, please! Dry shampoo is the first item on this list for a reason. You can also use dry shampoo to add texture to your hair if you’re doing a messy bun.
Simply spray through your hair, focusing on the roots and work into your hair using your fingers. Most dry shampoos come in small handbag-friendly sizes as well as big cans, which are perfect to keep at home.

Colour touch up root spray
While some influencers can pull off regrowth, most of us cannot. Getting to the salon or dying your hair takes careful planning and time. With a colour root spray, you can give your hair a break AND it covers grey brilliantly. You get about 24 uses per can and it stays on until you wash it off!

Invisibobbles
These are not a gimmick at all. They won’t crease your hair so you can wear it up one day and down the next. I usually have a few on hand because like bobby pins, you can never have too many.

Tangle Teezer brush
While some people say never use a brush on wet hair, the Tangle Teezer is amazing on dry and wet hair. It gets rid of knots easily and doesn’t hurt at all. This also makes it perfect for the kids.
Bobby pins and mini elastics
Whether you have flyaway hairs or bangs at the weird can’t-do-anything-with-it stage, bobby pins will come to the rescue. Another must-have? Mini elastics. Create plaits, or try one of these easy hairstyles.
