This is not a new read, but it’s probably the most enjoyable novel I have read so far this year. It’s been lauded and for good reason. Set in the early 1960s chemist Elizabeth Zott falls in love with a brilliant scientist but life is unpredictable… who knew that she would become a TV cooking celebrity? But it’s not just about cooking, it’s about changing the status quo. A laugh-out-loud, shrewdly observant and also brilliantly written book. Can’t wait for the next book Garmus writes.
