Why are women still being given a hard time for breastfeeding in public? It’s perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of. We love that these celebrities have done their bit to normalise breastfeeding.

TV personality Ntando Duma Mthombeni

Ntando proved that not even a photo shoot could interrupt her breastfeeding schedule when she took a break to feed baby Sbahle.

Entrepreneur and public speaker Jo-Ann Strauss

Jo-Ann proudly said, ‘Even if it offends you I’m going to feed my baby whenever and wherever because it’s good for my child. If it offends you, look away.’

Okay so he isn’t the one breastfeeding but we love that the actor is feeding his wife while she has her hands full feeding their child. We’d like to see more of this, please!

Actress and influencer Linda Mtoba

We love that Linda joked that her daughter is her ‘breastie’ – she even said ‘we’re joined at the boob’. She also had advice for other moms: ‘Mommies it’s OK to breastfeed our babies in public & not feel any shame for it.’ Well said, Linda! https://www.instagram.com/p/B7dtq-HAoVE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Actress Alyssa Milano

How appropriate that this breastfeeding mom is dressed as Wonder Woman? Even better is what Alyssa had to say about people who get upset when they see women breastfeeding in public: “Who are we, that now we get upset as human beings if we see a woman feeding her baby? It’s crazy to me.” Agreed Alyssa!

Supermodel and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen

Known for offering her followers a no-holds-barred account of parenting (and everything else for that matter!), supermom Chrissy posted this pic of her breastfeeding her son, Miles, and daughter Luna’s doll, too. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk8CprqHOBt/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Tia admitted she didn’t have an easy breastfeeding journey but says she’s so glad she stuck with it. But she had these encouraging words for other moms who might be struggling: “Don’t beat yourself up. The most important thing is that your baby is fed, protected and loved.”

Singer Halsey

We love that Halsey keeps it real, always. And that included refusing to take it to heart when people complained on her Instagram page that she was sharing too many pics of herself breastfeeding her baby, Ender.
